I GOT PHONE CALL FROM GFSIL TODAY 6 TIMES!!!! I TOLD THIS GUY NOT TO CALL ME AT WORK AND HE DID ANOTHER 5 TIMES. HAVE TOLD ALL MY EMPLOYEES IF A FOREIGN GUY ASK FOR ME TELL HIM I GOT FIRED LOL. MPDL CALLED MY REFERENCES TODAY. SENT ANOTHER EMAIL AND TOLD THEM TO STOP CALLING ANYONE AND WHERE IS MY REFUND FROM OVERPAYMENT. THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT AWARE OF A REFUND SINCE NOW I OWE THEM 1200 ON A 9OO LOAN. THEY ARE TRYING TO DRIVE ME CRAZY!!! MY DIRECT DEPOSIT IN GOING IN TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT AT ANOTHER BANK.

Which state do you stay in? Each state has its own set of law regarding payday loans.

What is MPDL? Is it a collection agency?

In addition, what do you mean by References?

In case of a collection agency, it cannot call any of your friends or relatives as a means of debt collection. It is against fdcpa. In such a situation you can ask the collection agency to stop harassing you and even if it continues then you can complain it to Federal Trade Commission (FTC). MyPayDayLoan company is a payday loan company and offers payday loans without checking credit and offers up to $1000. Their website also states that

If I got you right then you have received call from two payday loan companies, namely Global Finance Services International Limited (GFSIL) and My PayDay Loan (MPDL) Company.

Every state has its own set of law. Hence look at the state information regarding payday loan in your state. In many states payday loans are illegal.

BOY DO I FEEL STUPID. GETTING STATEMENTS FOR AG'S OFFICE AND I HAVE PAID 2484.49 FOR A 9OO.OO SINCE 1/25/09 FUNNY DIDN'T KNOW I WAS SO RICH TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD THIS. good stuff as always phoenix,but GFS is overseas in the UK therefore totally illegal.they can't do anything but call.i suggest getting with your co-workers bprice and telling these people you no longer work there.at home do not talk to them that will only result in more calls.

both companies mypaydayloan and gfsil are illegal. as my first post stated i have already gotten all my employees to tell these people i got fired. just having fun with mypaydayloan's emails now. got one that said i will be prosecuted under the laws of my state for a bad check. too funny since they had already emailed me and said that they do not have to follow south carolina laws for pdl's . funny how you can pick and choose what laws you want to follow.

ok updated- new email from mypaydayloan they have turned my debt over to detex collection agency. does anyone know anything about them...guess now i have a new set of people to fight with lol
