Hello,

I currently have multiple PD loans in Florida. I need to get out of this cycle!!! What can I do?

Here are a list of the loans and I need to know if they are legal in Florida.

Plain Green
Great Plains
Sierra Lending
Money Lion
One Click Cash
Big Picture Loan
InBox Loan

What is the best way to get out of this situation?

Thanks,

Eric

At first, you need to find out whether or not all the lenders are legal in Florida.

If they are legal you need to pay the principal amount including the interest.

If they are not legal in your state, ten just pay them only the principal amount that you owe and get rid of them.

As per my research, Plain Green, Great Plains, and One click cash are illegal. So, pay them only the principal amount that you owe. Rest I am not sure. If there are legal, you have to pay them back.

Thanks for the help everyone. So when they call me, should I tell them the same as in the letter? Should I ask to speak to a supervisor? Or should I just ignore the calls? They are calling non-stop!!

**I started the process of closing my bank account and sent a couple email letters and haven't gotten any responses as of yet. I sent those a couple days prior to writing this post.

Thanks,

Eric

Inform the illegal pdl lenders that you won't give more than the principal amount.

As Goodnelly advised, do not pay more than the principal amount. If they are still bugging you, file complaints with your state’s Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and your state’s financial regulatory authority.

I followed the instruction for illegal lenders for my 2 tribal loans. One of them sent me a paid in full letter and the other agreed to take my remaining balance of principal of $114 in money order. I sent it last week and am waiting for paid in full letter from them. Follow the instructions for your illegal lenders. It works!

ANOTHER UPDATE: One Click Cash sent me a settlement offer but I don't think I'm going to take it since I have already paid back the principal on the loan. Got a call from Great Plains and Plain Green and informed both that I would not be making any additional payments to them. They notated the accounts and I haven't heard anything additional so far. I have sent letter to all by now and today was the first day I really didn't receive many phone calls from them. Only Great Plains.
