uh,no you don't owe near 1000.00.you owe 280.00.pdl's are prohibited in NY therefore MYCASHNOW lent you illegaly.you only owe the principle borrowed.i wouldn't even deal with them.let your AG deal with them.file AG,and FTC complaints against MYCASHNOW.then make arrangments to pay the remaining 280.00 by money order.

Hallelujah! I DID IT! I am in Washington State. I followed your advice and it worked! I got sucked in by MyCashNow, OneClickCash and USFastCash. I waited until my loans with OneClickCash and USFastCash were paid in principal only. Then with the help of the Head of Operations at one of my banks branches I opened another account. And then...we proceded to reverse the next batch of ACH's from those "bad boys" and now my old account has a zero balance with a STRONG hold on it and I will be going into the branch tomorrow to officially close my account and I have SLAMMED the door on those nasty slime balls! MyCashNow is the only one that got me for any additional charges. I will be sure to mention to them in my cease and desist letter to them that they owe me a refund! HA! I don't even care. I did it! Thanks to all your great advice I was able to slam the door shut on them before it got to the disaster stage. Thanks so much for this site and your excellent advice. I will be filing complaints with every state and federal entity I can find. They can hound me all they want. They are not getting another penny out of me. My advice to anyone who is going through this is - STAY STRONG, STAY CALM and DON'T BACK DOWN! These are illegal and unlicensed payday loan companies. And believe me...THE BANKS KNOW IT!

I find this EXTREMELY interesting. Carey Brown the owner of MyCashNow.com under depositioin. This is a MUST READ! JUST INCREDIBLE! Type "who is Carey Brown" in the address bar and you will find it. Should be right at the top of the search page. These people don't even have the credibility to claim their own company or companies I should say. Carey Brown the owner of MyCashNow, PayDayMax, etc. also owns their marketing company - Logic. Wow! You've got to read this! How VAGUE can you get!

OneClickCash and USFastCash use the same ACH processor - Intercept EFT.

Here is a copy of the Cease and Desist letter I emailed to all three of the above. I just emailed it and received a couple of phone calls (which I did not answer) from OneClickCash and USFastCash - nothing since. Still receive one phone call a day around 9:00p.m. in the morning from MyCashNow.
What worked for me was closing my old account, opening another, initiating an investigation of the fraudulant charges and then sending the cease and desist letter. When the bank investigation was completed my bank credited my account with the latest ACH debits from the above unlicensed companies and all NSF charges associated with those transactions (I had transferred all monies from my old account to my new account).
You won't get much of a response from the ACH processors that these companies use unless you have an ongoing bank investigation. They will refer you right back to your bank.
One interesting thing that my bank told me was that once an account is closed - IT'S CLOSED! It can take a couple of days under certain circumstances (you have to stay on top of it) but unless there are pending charges at the time you close your account it's a very straight forward process that should take no more than 24 to 48 hours. Once it is closed your bank would be in fairly deep hot water if it allowed any activity especially ACH's to process.
COPY OF LETTER:

To Whom It May Concern:

It has been brought to my attention that your company is not licensed to lend in my state or ANY state in the United States, therefore it makes the contract I had with you null and void. The Better Business Bureau, Washington State Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission offices have advised me to close my bank account. Which I promptly did. All I am morally or legally obligated to pay you is the principal amount of the monies you advanced to me. The principal amount of $500.00 is paid in full. In addition to the principal amount there are finance charges and additional fees in the amount of $154.61 that were debited from my checking account. I am demanding a refund of these additional charges and fees. You may send a cashier???s check or money order in the amount of $154.61 to my address above.

You are hereby notified that I am revoking ANY and ALL ACH transactions made by your company on any of my personal accounts. If you make any attempts to do so, I will be forced to take legal action against your company. I am also revoking any and all wage assignments I may or may not have signed with your company.

As of today February 26, 2009, the only contact you may make with me is either through email, or USPS. I also demand your company and any affiliates of your company cease and desist all contact with me (except what is stated above), my employer, or any references I have listed on my account.

Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

Sincerely,
Carol Seholm

mycashnow, paydaymax, and discount advances all operate from Chattanooga, TN. Of course Carey Brown understands how to operate with deception better than most. All of these companies are off-shore legal entities, and the company he "operates" in chattanooga is Credit Payment Services, Credit Protection Depot, and a number of other "cover-up" companies. I'm sure they won't give you the TN address as they are not licensed in any state; they don't want you or anyone else to find them. If you have a loan with these guys, just pay the principal back and walk away. Work with your bank to stop/block the ACH transactions. I don't understand why the FTC or some other agency doesn't shut them down. They are just high-tech loan sharks, preying on others and getting criminal-like returns.

RE your post' "you made the illegal action first." Wouldn't any legitimate company prominently post somewhere on its website where it's legal or not legal? I know of at least one internet PDL which posts "testimonials from satisfied customers," several of whom are shown as living in my State, and PDL's are illegal in my State; isn't the PDL using deceptive practices in this instance, giving the assumption that they're legal in my State? At the VERY least, if a PDL gets an application from someone in a State where they're illegal, THEY should tell the person, "No, we can't lend to you." As far as I'm concerned, if a PDL lends to someone and they know they're not legal where that person lives, then they're the ones at fault.

pdm, dca, mcn, support7, creditprotection are all the same co. located in

5962 brainerd rd
chattanooga tn
ph # for business not located on websites are
423-648-5169

and the co is owned by one shadester carey brown who tries to brainwash his employess w illusions of being a "faith based organization" and while none of the employees seem to believe his bullshit, they stay bc its a rough economy right now.

while they are located in chatt, they're business shadily says they're from grenada, antigua, etc. this being the case take the money, then close the bank acct, by law ur only req to repay the principal amt (the amt u borrowed) they dont report to credit agencies so dont be afraid of them or their harassing emails or auto phone calls...just dont respond to them.

Now, I do know that "oneclickcash" is supposedley run by an Native American Tribe (Santee Souix Nation) Be Very wary of thies guys.. As the have something called "Tribal Sovereinty" and what they do (and most of the internet lending is illegal) is not subject to state and/or federal court jurisdiction???--Tell all of your friends ---NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH oneclickcash---Because they have some sort of legal "immunity" from ALL state laws.....And the fact that they know that---just makes them agressively break the law with impunity, because they know that there is nothing that any state ( and most federal courts) courts can do to stop them---DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE...UNTIL THE FEDERAL LAW IS AMMENDED TO PROTECT ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't even bother sending it USPS, an email is just as effective with an illegal lender.
