Does anyone have a current e-mail address for CPD?? I believe I saw that William Reed is the contact person there. I have called and faxed the appropriate letter of revocation but no reply from them.
jlw. . you are correct. I
tried sending an email through to that address as well and it was
returned as underliverable. I know in the spring, when I was dealing
with them, that is the address from which their communications came, and
I sent mine to that address as well without a problem. You could try
using this phone number to try and make a connection 1-866-645-1661.
You could also try this fax number if you don't want to speak with them
directly. 1-866-645-1662. I know that anyaroberts has indicated that
have done a "bug out" but I don't have a clue as to where their new
"home" could be. Perhaps the ACH department at your bank could give you
a contact? Good luck and keep us posted.
Thanks anyarobert. I know
that when I was having a dialogue with them the emails went back and
forth with the above email address. But, it would appear that they are
trying to be even more illusive now. I can only hope that is a sign of
better (for us) and worse (for them) things to come! I would use the
phone and fax number for contact, before they change that as
well.
I have sent the ACH revocation
and C & D letters and they have acknowledged that they received
them. I have a payment due on July 31st. Do you think they will still
try to debit my account. I haven't been able to close it yet because I
have a direct deposit coming in on the 1st. Plus my bank (Fifth Third)
has no clue what to do. They say that they can't do a "deposit only" or
stop the ACH debit for this or any other PDL company. "Not possible"
they say. I even spoke to the branch manager.
Frustrating.
They should be able to close
the account with a "hard block" full balance hold. Then when the
deposit comes in they can release the hold on the deposit, which will
make it available, while still keeping the ACH items on hold. Then you
can transfer the deposit and move the funds and have them immediatly
close the account.
i would go further,i would go
in person if you haven't and speak
to the manager,if they still refuse. i would talk to your employer
and get a live check for a couple of weeks then get a new account at a
different bank altogether.
I just tried to talk to
someone at mycashnow about a payday loan I thought had been paid back in
2006, was NOT wanting a loan just to see if they got money I paid that
I'm guessing someone took an ran off with. Anyway, all they said was we
are not able to process a loan and I can not speak with you anyone about
this account. My goodness, how am I suppose to find out if I still owe
them money?
