I need help!

I have three payday loans. I talked to Payday Loan Assistance and thought that was a good way of paying off the loans for good. Now I have a huge problem. I'm not sure who is telling the truth! The payday loan people call us night and day, they harrass my family and are threatening to garnish my wages. The payday loan assistance program says that this is "scare tactic" behavior and promises to help with the issues when we give them authority to handle the companies. The only thing is that they dont "promise" that they can stop the harrassment...which leads me to believe, what power do they actually have?? Are they just another scam company wanting my money and am I going to be in worse shape by dealing with them instead of trying to just pay the things off??
I just want the harrassment to stop, to pay my debt, and to not have to worry about this everyday. I've listed the payday loan places and amounts below. Any suggestions?
The Cash Store (illinois)- 700 dollars
B and B Investments - (Illinois) Cash Loans Now may be another name for them 400 dollars
Solomon Finance (Online loan, from Wisconsin)- 500 dollars
Thanks for any info-

Where do you stay, Amy? The payday lenders have to follow the laws of the state where they are doing business. If you only let us know the name of your state we can look up for the state laws.
Secondly, the settlement company should stop the lenders from calling you. That is one part of their services. Haven't they informed all your lenders that all communication henceforth would take place through them?
I'd say, next time when the lender calls you up; tell them to contact Payday Loan Assistance.
