Has anyone ever heard of or used thid pdl company known as PDL Loan Center? Also, does anyone know of a physical for them?

According to the Who Is for their website, PDL Loan Centers are the same thing as Impact Cash. If you put that in the search box, I'm sure someone has posted all the contact info.

Impact Cash and PDL Loan Center are two completely separate companies. The email address dawnlango7 put in as a contact is for Impact Cash NOT PDL Loan Center. Also, it's not even an email for customer service. I don't know PDL Loan Centers email but here is their phone number: 866-928-5055. Good Luck!

For starters, I am sorry to hear that any company would have so little care for their customers that they would not return a phone call or email as soon as possible.

My suggestions would be as follows:

Review your contract for addresses and information on how to pay off. Attempt to contact them in this manor first with a letter, or using reverse look up tool on the web. (they may provide an address or bank account to send funds to)

If you look around most short term lenders use a specific group for reporting, find that group and ask for a copy of your credit report with them; that should contain a phone number.

If you can find some way of contacting the lender, request proof of the debt, a copy of the contract you signed, and a statement on your account.

As a tip to anyone that is borrowing, only borrow from a company that is licensed in your state. (Look for proof on the website, or on the wall in a store)
I know faxes are a pain, but they do make the contract and the whole process a lot more traceable and legitimate for the borrower and the lender, as well as ensure that both parties will hold up to their agreement.

And please do not borrow from one lender to pay another???s payment??? Go find a debt consolidation group, or figure out another way to handle your finances. These High interest loans are meant to be short term. I sadly see these products abused by consumers and this abuse encouraged by irresponsible lenders all too often, and it always seems to be the borrower who pays for the abuse in the end.

What about this- I did business with PDL Loan Center who then became High Country and PDL and then became another company. Now i have RBT calling me saying I owe them and they are the original creditors and REFUSE to validate my debt. I wrote them a letter and next to every answer they wrote "only for third party collections agency to answer and we are not one" and "please see documents we already emailed you serveral times". All they sent me were the docs for PDL Loan Center then said RedRock deposited my money and that I can look at the bank statement and see that. Well either way, RedRock wasn't on the statement and this doesn't prove to me they were affiliated with PDL Loan Center. We are talking just a matter of 2 months they changed names 3 times. They will also not provide me with a license number. They are accusing me of trying to avoid paying them at which I responded "no I am just trying to avoid being scammed by validating you're saying I owe". What am I doing wrong?

Are any of the above named companies legal?

Oh Jonell don't EVEN get me started....I had a loan with PDL loan center, then Tawni Piggott with RBT (Rocky BOy Technologies) refusing to respond to my emails saying her part of company isn't servicing my loan giving me a bogus # to call finally emails me a good number then they started calling me today. I wasted 2 hours on the phone almost with Eugene and Eric and they refuse to settle for anything less than 3 payments equal to the loan amount funded even though I've already given them over 200 dollars. They won't discuss legality...anything. Just asked me if phone conversation being taped. As far as I can tell they are ONLY legal in Montana - nowhere else. When you talk to the collections person one person will say we are in Southern Nevada and other says we are in Montana. It is a cluster.

I will continue to file my complaints as I told them I would. I really don't think they are legal if they are struggling as much as they are with providing me the requested information. If they were legit, don't you think it would be an easy task for them to handle?

Thanks for your input. More is appreciated if anyone else wants!

Yeah- and I am in AZ. I think it's their way of not having to follow the rules. I am sure they have a PO box and nothing else on the reservation to avoid having to get a license. I am sure there are ways around it though. That just makes no sense. Either way I am filing all kinds of complaints. They already came back to me and said "fine pay us the principle only and we will call it good" in reponse I said "first prove to me that you are the ones who gave me the loan in the first place and we can talk". I should copy and paste a copy of the debt validation they sent me in reponse to my request. Would that be beneficial to anyone?

Yes. RBT is still talking to me. They're saying they don't want to send me to third party but they might have to because they're claiming I refuse to pay. Well yeah, if they don't want to prove to me they were the ones who gave me the loan- then I do refuse to pay. There is ZERO documentation saying that RBT ever loaned me money or that I have any business with them. They are scared of me because they know I'm right. I also overpaid on fees the first loan i took out with them. I reminded them of that. They're getting frustrated with my being so educated. LOL I'm so grateful it!

I finally got through, the number to call is 1-866-824-0893. Remain on the line and listen to the music for a long time and then someone will pick up and help you.

They are busy with multiple people calling in with the same problems in their accounts.

The above two companies went out of business, they have been taken over by PDL Ventures.

I have been trying for two weeks to get through to the previous numbers without success. Although I could not get through to them via the previous phone numbers, they took money out of my checking accout and have made a mess of things. The new company PDL Ventures does not have the latest wire transfers that PDL and Outbacks took from my account, but are will to work with you.

There is really no control on who and when a PDL company will call. I will tell you it is always when you least expect it. Just breif your employer on your situation and your references just in case.

In the meatime fire off Cease & Desist letter to the companies notifying them not to contact you at your place of employment or contact your references. Many people say you cannot send a C&D to an OC, but you can if they contact your place of employment and harass your references.

In this forum, someone posted a ph#. I had no problem getting through. I was on hold for a couple mins. The # was 866-928-5055. I spoke to a lady named Jessie. She gave me another # that she said you could get through to faster: 866-824-0893.
At the beginning of my loan (borrowed $300, over the phone, they called me) I was told I needed to call to have the total loan amount taken out or else they would just take out the $90, which they did. I didn't have a number to get back in touch with them. There's no way to reach them from their website. Thanks to this forum I was able to. We'll see what happens next.

I called 877-947-1947 and got through after being on hold for 20 min. I told them I wanted to pay my loan in full and they took it out of my account the next day. Good ridence to this company. I'll never take a loan from them again.

PDL is fine except you have to pay these companies off right away or you can end up spend loads of extra cash. The standard payoff is about $300 per $100 you borrow. Also you MUST let them know about 3 days ahead of the schedule time of deduction otherwise they will just keep taking money.

I got a loan from them for $300. They claim that you can call when they take out their first installment payment(which is $90) and pay off the loan to avoid any further charges. First of all, when I called after paying the first installment to pay off my loan I got no response(phone kept hanging up on me). I called the phone number in their emails, it rings and then hangs up, or it will be just a busy signal. After them taking out $625 out of my bank account ($90-$100 every 2 weeks), I finally got a hold of a representative that said that I had passed the point of the loan being paid off. I still owed over $300 more! So that is $925 for a $300 loan, that I had in no more than 4-5 months! I told them I would not pay another penny and stopped my bank from allowing them to take funds. They do not return emails or answer the phone because they want you to pay their ridiculous fees. They will only reach you if you miss a payment. (which they did once I refused to pay anymore) So unless you would like to pay back triple for a short term loan, then good luck! And I put in a complaint with the BBB, and guess what? They have a F rating!

This company operates on the rocky boy indian reservation in box elder mt. they do not need a banking license because this is a sovereign nation...meaning they can do what they want to. I do not know the physical address....but if one were to be in the North Central montana area and ventured up here someone could probably tell you where Rocky Boy Technologies is located====if you have a loan with these people...I'm sorry....most everyone here is extremely lazy, no matter how educated they are----if you happen to be one of their family members you will be fine, but otherwise be prepared for a battle of battles...get an attorney, but good luck finding one who will deal with tribal courts...again, it is a sovereign nation. On the BBB website there is a web address to the FBI which is the only place who can really help you with any company that leads back to RBT....sorry. I live here and know first hand the absolute LACK of customer service ability, LACK of any moral code whatsoever and the sheer laziness of these people is astounding!!!! Tried to get some paperwork from the college here that should have taken 1 day......it took 3 weeks of voice mails before anything happened...hey if you answer your phone that means you have to work right?? They'd rather be outside gossiping and smoking than working....at ANY business here----I sound quite mean, but I am completely honest---read this article in the Havre Daily News :http://www.havredailynews.com/articles/2009/11/20/local_headlines/world.txt in case that doesn't work here's the article"

The Chippewa Cree Tribe of Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation has started a new business in an effort to stimulate economic development. Dan Belcourt, attorney for the tribe, said during a conference call with the Havre Daily News Oct. 22 that last spring it entered the world of Internet loans with PDL Ventures, an online payday loan company. In the online loan process, people can fill out an application via the Internet, which includes supplying their bank account informat ion. I f approved, often in 24 hours or less, the loan is deposited in the bank account and the repayment — usually with a hefty fee — is withdrawn by the loan company on the applicant’s next pay day. What the Tribe says it didn’t know was that other online companies already were operating with the abbreviat i o n o f pay day loan in t h e i r n a m e . S eve r a l P D L Ventures are offering online loans and some of them don’t have the best record in customer service. Numerous complaints have been filed that have led to 119 complaints eventually being attributed to the Rocky Boy business by the Bet ter Business Bureau. Neil Rosette, the tribe's executive administrative officer, said during a conference call Oct. 23 that he believes most of the complaints were filed against businesses other than the Tribe’s — especially since their business has only been in operation for about six months, and some of the complaints were filed more than a year ago. Rosette said the Tribe will work to resolve any problems in customer service and is assigning a full-time position the responsibility of answering those complaints. The Bet ter Bus ines s Bureau reported Thursday that of new complaints forwarded since October some were answered but others remained unanswered. Rosette added that the fledgling business is still going through startup and growing pains. “We found some glitches, and we are fixing them as we speak,” he said. Part of that was a systems failure — Rosette said the computer server used by the company had crashed, and it took three weeks to get things running again. That crash also interrupted telephone service, he added. “We just got it running again,” Rosette said. None of the complaints received by the Bet ter Business Bureau were related to that server crash. He said the work processIng loan applications and providing customer service all is done at Rocky Boy. Other than leaving a voice mail Nov. 5 offering to submit a press release, Rosette has not returned calls asking for additional information made since the Oct. 23 conference call. During the Oct. 22 call, Belcourt and Rosette said specific information about the business was proprietary and could not be released to the press. Also during that call, Rosette said that focusing on the complaints seems to him to be taking the wrong approach. “It sounds like a negative thing when we, as a tribe, see it as a positive economic story,” he said. Rosette said that the business has done a large volume of loans and is putting the profits to good use on the reservation. Some of the money was used to give jobs to out-of-work youths on the reservation, and $90,000 is being invested in remodeling the upstairs of Northern Winz Casino on the reservation to be used as a call center, he said. He said the call center could be much more than just a place for PDL Ventures to operate. He said it could be a call center for a variety of businesses, such as for satellite television service. “Loans may not be what we settle on in the call center,” Belcourt said. Belcourt said that once that center is up and running, it could employ up to 100 people in the region, on and off Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation.

I just got a call on my office phone from this scam company. The girl said "I am calling from ~mumble~ and your account was given to us by another company. Since you have done business with them before, they have already approved a loan for you. Would you be interested in getting a loan today?"

What the heck?? I've never had a payday loan, and she wouldn't even tell me who gave her my info when I asked - she said that "they don't tell us who the company is". Well, you just told me that they GAVE YOU MY ACCOUNT (only two I have is my car payment and 1 credit card which are both with reputable companies).

I asked her who she was with again, and she finally said "PDL Loan Center...we are a loan processing...blah blah blah". My radar went up at "PDL" --- sounds a lot like "Pay Day Loan" to me. Sure enough, first Google search brought me right here.

#1 - what company just "gives" another company all of it's accounts?
#2 - do they really think I believe someone is calling me out of the blue to offer a great deal on a loan??

Be smart people - don't fall for the scammers. ~shaking head at the world~

I don't know which PDFLLoanCenter it is, because there is no number showing when they drafted the money out of my account, they have a ID: number there, but I need a phone number, please send me a phone number so I can call. I need to talk with someone before my next pay day.
