I have been to my bank and stopped all ACH debits from my account for PDLs. The PDL companies are already calling and emailing… What is the next step?

What state are you in? Blocking an unlicensed lender will not stop them from accessing your account, they use all kinds of illegal tactics. Their next move might be they will change their names and debit your account. I hope you understand that your account information will never be safe again as long as they have your information, for 100% safety, you will need to close out that account and pay them via the mail with money orders.

So you delete my post for telling the truth? You're as much full of crap as the people you're complaining about! They do not use illegal tactics to gain access to your account. You gave them your account# when you signed up for the loan knowing full well they were going to deduct from your account.

okay.that's cool, but you should inquire as to getting a new account with your current bank.on that's not linked to the old one.at least work toward that, because that account will never be 100% safe again.i understand you not wanting to change accounts, but you should plan on closing that one eventually.

Hey Paul...she took out loans from FOUR different places!! You telling me she didn't know after the first one what she was getting herself into?

You need to quit coddling these people and giving them advice on how to welch on a contract they signed into. These people go to the websites, they fill out the application, they sign the contract...no one forces them to do any of this.

Here's a snap shot of my bank account over the last couple of days...
11/27/2009 Purchase PURCHASE PATHMARK #551 11/25 $138.11 Processing † 11/24/2009 Purchase PURCHASE BOSTON MARKET #495 11/23 $22.22 $1,870.37 11/24/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT CASH ONE ACHTRANS $317.15 $1,892.59 11/24/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT INTEGRITYADVANCE 8005056073 $332.70 $2,209.74 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE SUPERFRESH #70468 11/21 $9.04 $2,542.44 11/23/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT PAYPAL INST XFER $9.87 $2,551.48 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE #07931 ACME 11/21 $16.24 $2,561.35 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE LAWNSIDE ASTRO 11/20 $34.01 $2,577.59 11/23/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT DISCOUNTADVANCES LOAN $78.75 $2,611.60 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE CONTE'S 11/20 $90.10 $2,690.35 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE #07998 ACME 11/21 $161.65 $2,780.45 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE WHOLE FOODS MARK 940 Ro 11/22 $169.65 $2,942.10 11/23/2009 Purchase PURCHASE NJ-SURCHARGE 11/20 $280.00 $3,111.75 11/23/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT WELLS FARGO ILI ILIPYMT $338.59 $3,391.75 11/23/2009 Other AUTOMATED DEBIT DISCOUNTADVANCES LOAN $900.00

You can clearly see the payments I've made to these companies and how many I've used...and this is just in a four day span. I, like everyone else new full well what I was getting myself into and I paid it off the way it stated I would have to in the contract. I've been using these companies for years now and never have a problem. Yes...I'd like to not have to use them at all, but when I need quick cash, I know I can get it from them. Yes, it's at a premium...but we're paying for convienence, quick access to the funds, and an approval on the loan...because everyone using these services is using them because their credit is not good enough to get a real loan or else they would.
