james, are you talking about a "wage assignment"? That's what most overseas illegal pdls will send. Not a wage garnishment, but a wage assignment. A wage assignment is totally voluntary by your employer and usually not even a "valid" wage assignment. This company isn't even licensed/legal. But if you're talking about a wage assignment, you can do this easily. Just type up short and to the point a letter stating: "I, (state your name), revoke any and all wage assignments that I have signed with your company, your partners, or any affiliates." Then type your name. Email it/fax it/mail it certified mail. Keep a copy and give a copy to your HR/payroll person just in case they do decide to send one to your employer. Also, have you sent a debt validation letter to the collection agency yet? Let them validate an illegal debt. :wink:
