12/1/16 Zoca Loans- 600 - Paid (1142.26)
5/18/17 Zoca Loans - 1000 - Paid (253.39) -Balance (879.90)

Hi I am currently dealing with Zoca Loans, and they are also being difficult. I looked on their website, and it does state that they are a tribal lender from the Sioux tribe. They are also known as Rosebud Lending ZSO. They sent me this form for me to revoke ACH, but it states that I agree to pay the rest of my loan amount. I'm not certain that they are illegal, since I haven't seen anyone post about them in the forum. If they are illegal, I have paid above the principal amount based on my previous loan. Any advice on how to deal with them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi SF, That is wonderful news! Unfortunately, I have not heard anything back from Zocaloans after my last response. I just reiterated that I demanded a paid in full letter and a refund for the amount I paid above the principal. When I login to the site, it says that I should call. I won't be doing that! I hope I'll get a similar response soon.

If you have paid the principal amount, then don't pay a single extra penny. Ask them to send you a written "paid in full letter". If they deny, contact your State's General Attorney.

I recited that same email..I already revoked ACH through email and regular mail. I'm also wondering if it's necessary to use their form. I wouldon't think with them being a tribal lender they are illegal as most are. If you hear different I'd love to know as well.

Why should you settle when you have paid more than the principal amount?
Please stay away from payday lenders in future. They are loan sharks. See the mess you're in.
No need to use their bloody form.

SF,

I have been going back and forth with them, and they haven't seemed to agree. I keep getting automated emails saying my account is delinquent and that I need to call. They say if I want to borrow from them in the future, I should get this settled quickly. I responded again with the paid in full letter and the amount I'm owed in refund. I also stated that i filed complaints with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions and the BBB. I'll keep you posted.
