Roxette???

I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Roxette??? I know that I've been in and out alot, but I've noticed that I haven't seen Roxette posting--so I did a search and found that she hasn't posted since May. I also emailed her but my email was returned. if anyone knows I would appreciate knowing. She helped me ALOT and I was just concerned. thank you, shirley


I 2nd the savings statement. Though, I only really have a savings acct. I do have a checking account, but only so I can have an ATM card. All the money goes into the savings. Pay for everything with cash when possible. And, I can use my savings account to make payments online. Yes - you can use a savings account to make bill payments. It's just an ETF transaction. Check with your bank on the number of transactions you can do that way - many of them limit them so you don't go nuts using your savings account for that reason. But I routinely use my savings account to pay my mortgage and a couple utilities.

I miss my old bank - the number of transactions was unlimited. Best part - if I screwed up and the money wasn't there - no NSF fee. :)

It WAS New Lenox State Bank. They just got bought out by Harris. :(

But remember - it was a payment from a savings account that did not have enough money, not a checking account. I would use my savings account to online bill pay EVERYTHING! And if I messed up, they would return the payment, but since it was a savings account and they had nothing in their rules, they could not charge me an NSF fee.

Check your bank - you may be able to do the same. Currently, every month, I pay at least three bills either online or check-by-phone that actually comes from by savings account - mortgage, electric bill & natural gas bill. Mortgage is by check-by-phone and the elec & gas via mycheckfree.com. BTW - if you don't use mycheckfree.com and actually pay for online bill payments, you are making a mistake.

Wow,Amy ,you really have some great experience and lessons to share with others. You hit the nail on the head,learning what to do so you won't get in that mess any longer. I feel for you with your kids. It's hard to raise kids any how,but with special needs,it's more difficult.My son is grown now,but lives with me and suffers from mental illness,so I know. I did not mean to cause a ruckus. You know I am not good with the computer at all. I have tried to join the community and have no idea what I have screwed up. I feel bad that I have probably been one of the people who have asked the same stupid question over and over. I don't know what you are even talking about when you say use the search whatever. I apologize to all.

don't feel bad. On the upper right side of your screen it has a google search box. Right below that is a link to "Advanced Search". Click that and that will be the search for the whole site. You can change the criteria and search in many different ways. Give it a try and see if you can find your question asked in one of the forum. IF not, then feel free to post the question.

I am online throughout the day using GIS and or parcel data. Quite often on my state's transportation website...so on and so forth. They could never say no internet because it is a tool we use to collect info to do our job. Once in awhile I might slip over to something non-work related, but ya got give your mind a break now and then!

Tonight my boy Carson is gonna play the whole half!! Love him, but he's acting like a baby.

Guys, the Vikes cut Robinson, which leaves them with absolutely no depth in receiver. Add an ancient QB and no O-line, and the Vikes will be last in the division. Green Bay, sorry folks, lost Walker, that hurts. Favre is 10000000 yrs old. 3rd in division. Lions, I never liked Kitna, too many lackluster receivers, crappy TE, bad center, rotten o-line, rotten d-line..2nd in division, but no wild card.

So that leaves the bears, by default. They did some work recently, they'll do more by waivers, cut day for most teams is Thursday, they'll get rid of T.J and get some talent...Their defense is still good, they have a so-so secondary and their special teams sucks and they NEED to play Griese..But they'll win the division, I promise..Only to be wiped out in the second round. Better than nothing.
