I hear ads on the radio all the time for companies offering this same service. There are at least six new ones that I know of in my area that have been advertising in the last few months. I would beware of these. If you really want to go with a company, use one that's been around awhile and has a proven track record with very few complaints. Compare the fees and policies and choose one that suits your particular situation. If you do not have a lot of accounts and can manage the settlements yourself, you are better off. You can type just about anything into the search box above and get a list of links to click on to read of others' experiences. Definitely DO NOT sign up with ANY company until you spend time investigating and comparing. Research the entire settlement process and its pitfalls as well as benefits before you start. It is a last resort before bankruptcy, not a "quick fix". Know what you are getting into. Too many people sign up for a program without knowing the company or what they are in for, and end up being scammed or raked over the coals.
