I am driving to work and I have this song in my head and I can't get rid of it. I do not know how it got there. Has that ever happened to you? The worst part is it is not a song that I really like and I don't know the words so I find myself making them up. This particular time the song is "True" by Spandau Ballet. It came out in the 80s I think. I am singing to myself "I bought a chicken from a girl" when I look it up on Google it is "I bought a ticket for the world."
How many people thought that the words in Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann were "wrapped up like a douc_e" when it really was "revved up like a deuce?" So what song lyrics have you been messing up all your life on purpose or without realizing it.

Our first dance was too a song called "Hold me in your arms" by Whitney Houston and Teddy Pendergrass. Anyone ever heard of it? My first marriage did not have a first dance. We were hippies and had our wedding in the back yard and went camping on our honeymoon. We liked "Color my World" by Chicago though! I guess that would have been the one.

Lawstudent, funny you would mention Frampton. I used to roller skate to him when I was a kid! My whole life I thought he was making that noise in "Show me the way" with his mouth..Then I saw him on VH1 using a mouthPIECE to make it. I was devestated.

I never tire of the Beatles either. My parents named me after a Beatles song! They sang it to me when I was little..

No worries, Karma got him. Heard he had to be treated with penicilian from my room mate.. :lol: I thought that was better than any thing I could do to him.... And as much as I may gripe about my oldest child..I mean hubby, he is the best and I wouldn't have him if I were with the looser..and like I said, this one is much better looking in uniform.

Okay. Here's the plan. We hit New York first, then cruise across country and hit California. Damn. I wish gas didn't cost so much. We could pull a Thelma and Louise and hit some convenience stores along the way for some cash! :D
