AT&T Debt

I recently recieved my credit report and have Palisades Collection on there for 181 that I owe. I do recall having a wireless through AT&T but should I call them to take care of that payment or what? Thanks!! Just trying to get things cleared off of my report.

Welcome to the forums. Take Tiffany's advice; you can look in the Do It Yourself section on the righthand side of your webpage for some great sample letters to send to you creditors. Also, be sure to send everything in writing and request a response in writing so you can document the answers they give you.

Most people having issues with AT&T and Palisades Collections have one thing in common. The debts have occurred long time back and they go out of the SOL period. You must also make sure if the last payment done towards this account was long time back if it has forced the expiry of SOL.

If this debt is legitimate, Palisades has to give you the necessary details in writing before you make any payment arrangements with them. Don't make any commitment or a payment at this stage otherwise they will hold it against you and that will renew the SOL
