I have a debt plan set up through consumer credit counceling of america. The go through the law offices of Richard a. Brennan. The say that the law office will negotiate to settle my debt. Has anyone ever delt with them and how legit are they?

Good lawyer. As with all programs, you need to be patient. If you are expecting immedidate results you will be disapointed.
If you are exepecting to talk to a lawyer every time you have an issue, not going to happen. LAwyers are busy and paralegals are like nurses they do all the work get all the yelling and get no credit.
