I am so psyched that I have found this site. I live in Wyoming and have Internet and Store front loans. I don't know whether I should request they be marked paid or make arrangements. I know that my loans w/Aeroadvance, PaydayOK, Payday1, Paydayselect and Apple have violated my states laws because the have automatically refinanced. I would like to hear from people that have made arrangements. Did they freeze your account or keep adding charges?

Here's the link to your state's laws: You will probably need to wither put a block on them from debiting your account or close the account and open a new one. The storefronts you will need to work out a payback arrangement since they are licensed and can take you to court and get a civil judgement.

I have some that follow the laws that I will slowly pay down and some store lenders. I do however have 1 w/Apple Fast Cash amount varies every month, AeroAdvance takes $60 every 2 weeks, United, One click Cash, my cash now and Paycheck Today. I am going to get my info together and take these on. If anyone has any advice on any of these lenders, I would really appreciate it. Also, my husband has asked if there is anyway that I could get a refund on some of the over pay.

Yes, you need to send them the settlement letter from Polly's blog and insert your state's pdl laws in it and demand a refund of the overpayment. AND you need to get your complaints in with your AGs office and add to the letter that you have done this. Several people here have been successful with getting refunds for overpayment, especially when they mention they have filed a complaint with their AGs office.

Ginurse,

I'm glad to hear that your were able to settle with two of your payday lenders. I deal with Aero Advance and they were very cooperative. They weren't rude or threatening. I was able to pay my principal balance in two payments via money order. They knocked off any late fees/nsf charges, finance charges. If you go to their website, you should be able to find their phone number there.

I have paid to AeroAdvance $1020 on a $300 loan. I think that I have well paid my principle. I found their number, which was nothing but machines, then stumbled on a real person who took all of my information and said that he would get back with me on Monday for me to call him. He then put my account "on hold". I tried logging into the account but it will not let me log in. Hopefully that's a good sign.

No sooner did I post my reply this email came from AeroAdvance:

Quote:

Pamela,
Your account was run by our compliance department and it was concluded while the advance is still considered valid we will clear your account per your request. Your account has been zeroed out.

Thank you,

AACS

I am still going to try and get a refund.
