can they garnish my wages?

I have a pay loan with these people and they call constantly i recently hit a low point i do not have any money to pay them back right now, now they say they are going to contact my payroll personnel to garnish my wages can they do that or is this just a scare? Parsky ,FLORDIA

Unless you signed a voluntary wage assignement they can't garnish your wages without getting a judgement against you. A few payday lenders will include a voluntary wage assignment with their docs or whatever and all you have to do is send a letter stating that you revoke that. What payday lender are you referring to?
