Also, how did they get the info for the other account? If you didn't give it to them, then you need to ask your bank about it. At my old bank, they allowed ppl to debit by using your ss#, and that could be what they did to you.

When I disputed the charges and got the money back, I changed banks too. Yea, I don't have anything coming out of my account now. I have this fear that they might get mad @ me and take my money
Debited money
It's Cashnet500, I don't know how they got my account #, my bank say's they must have gotten it somehow it comes thru as an ACH debit. I applied for a regular loan online this past week but it wasn't with a payday loan company it was with Citi. If I didn't give it to them and they got the #'s can they do this?

Cashnet is dirty and sneaky. You will be able to get the money back (at least most of it) by disputing it with your bank). I would definitely switch banks if I were you.

no, I don't think they do. I was told they somehow have the account #. I'm just worried that when they give me the provisional credit and do their investigation they (cashnet) may come back with saying "well she owes us money therefore we took it out of one of her other accounts" or something and I will be stuck.

They took out the $285 and within 2 days, it was back in my account. Then about 3 weeks later, they started calling again. Finally I paid them only what I was required to by my laws (principal only) and then I harassed them 3 or 4 times a day about my PIF letter. I got an email one day after I called for the 5th time in 10 minutes

I disputed the charges this morning, I faxed the affidavit to them as well. The charges just went thru last night. No the provisional credit wont go thru until Tues because it's the weekend and a holidy monday from what they told me on the phone.

Yea, sorry, I forgot about the holiday. I am pretty sure that they will give the money back with no problem. Also, for whoever has the account, they might want to close it and if possible take your name off so they can't get into it again by your ss or however they did this time.

Well, it's a joint account I have with my fiance, however I am the primary on it. They bank told me today that they will have me close the account and open another one to prevent anything else from going thru from this company and that's what I'll do. You don't think that I'll be required to pay this since I have done business with them before, although it was a different account? I'm just so affraid they will get away with this.

No, they will give your money back, don't worry :) I know several ppl that have got it back. Another thing, how much was your loan and how much have you paid them so far??

According to your state's laws, they are not permitted rollovers. I really don't know how to figure all of this up, but I am sure that someone will post on it. If I am correct, you should already have them paid off, but maybe I am wrong.

If your state allows $15 per $100 borrowed and the loan was for $350, and you've already paid $405 in rollver fees, then they have been paid in full. Actually, the total amount of the loan with finance charges should be $402.50. $350 + $45($15 per $100) + $7.50(this is normally what storefront pdls charge for anything under $100)=$402.50.
The $45 is for the $300 and the $7.50 is for the $50.
I hope you can understand my calculation.
