If "wage assignment" is mentioned in the contract, signed by you, send a revocation letter because it is completely voluntary. Send the letter CMRRR to be sure that the company has received your revocation letter.

They love to use those wage assignments, though, so definitely get a wage assignment revocation letter out now. First, though, get a letter of defense to your payroll dept. This is the same thing as a revocation letter, only directed to your payroll dept.
