Anybody know what constitutes debt validation? A copy of the bill does not right? That is what is attached to the lawsuit that WW&R is bringing against me for CACH, LLC. They attached an old copy that still has providians name on it as the biller.

Can anyone give a clear explaination of what a company should send to prove they own the debt. I requested debt validation through CACH and the law firm that they are using to sue me. Haven't recieved anything yet.

This is a link that I am going to look at as well. So statements don't count as debt validation? The information that we received back from the lawyer regarding Beneficial had some original loan papers with it but a bunch of stuff was blacked out. They also included a payment history but it only went up to December. I will definately check this link out.
