Hey everyone,
I tried for at least a week and a half to get ahold of One Step Cash and they wouldn't respond to me. I filed a complaint with the Ohio AG's office and received a response today that they would investigate it. I replied and attached the letter I have been attempting to send One Step Cash. That was only a couple of hours ago. Look what I just got in my email!!!!

YES! There is hope out there for all of us!!!!!!!!!

Did you file a complaint with your AG's office? I told them to mail me a check and then he responded and said, "If it's all the same, our normal method of crediting via ACH is a much
quicker process. Hopefully that will not be too much of a problem for you?"

I responded by saying, "Unfortunately, due to fraudlent activity, my account has been closed. I have no problem waiting for a check."

He wrote back immediately and said, "No problem."

Thanks Steelers!!

On another note, I sent Payday Avenue a letter yesterday stating the laws. Now I do owe them their whole principle which is $200, and applicable fees for my state but they want over $350 from me. In the letter I asked them not to call me but to communicate by email or USPS. Well guess what, my husband just called and said the guy from yesterday called and said he got my email and wanted me to call him. I am going to email them. I don't trust that company-they claim they are legal under the laws of the Republic of Malta. Also, he said he had to have the whole thing in one payment and they cannot accept money orders, only ACH or Western Union or Moneygram. he was nice but kind of threatening. Anyone have experience with them? I will put them with T & C if they just hold out till the 15th when I have the $155 for T & C.

Thanks for the advice, Howard, and thank you 2nband, steelers, and Leah for the congrats. I never thought I would be able to do this on my own. I did print it and put it in my "PDL" folder! I am feeling better about everything except Payday Avenue. They won't work with me on making payments and from what I see on here, they won't work with T & C, either. This is enough to ruin my day....

I've dealt with Paydayavenue. They sent my employer their wage assignment letter, but my employer didn't honor it b/c I revoked it. They called me once or twice since my payroll dept informed them of the revocation. This last time they called, I informed them that I'm filing a Ch 13 BK and I've retained my attorney. I gave them the info and I haven't heard from them since. That was about three weeks ago.

I know payday avenue is an affiliate of someone but I can't remember right now.

They are affiliated with Sonic and Cash Transfer Centers.
