Welcome to the Community :D That's why I always tell people to do their homework before choosing an option to deal with their debt.

For instance, there is debt consolidation, debt settlement and Do it Yourself, just to name a few. Depending on the amounts, your income, etc., you may be able to do this on your own.

If you want to list the state you are in, what type of debt you have, if it's with a collection agency, etc., we can direct you in the right direction.

You are also entitled to a free debt counseling if you signed up for it.

Before you go with a Company, check them out with the BBB, google them, check them out here, and ask your states' attorney general about the company.
