I have two payday loans I am slowly paying down. I go pay what I can when I can. Not on a scheduled basis. I owe about $500 on each but am making an effort to pay what I can. What type of letter do I send them to get the do corrospond via mail only with me?

If they are the original lenders, unfortunately there is no way to stop them from calling you. Original lenders don't have to comply with the FDCPA act.

However, if it is a collection agency then you'd need to send the 'cease and desist' letter to thwart any communication regarding debt. The sample of the same you would find here.

Lenders don't like 'pay when you can' arrangements.

My suggestion:
1) Contact them and offer to make regular payments (no matter how small)
2) Ask the 'handler' for help to get this approved (then get it in writing). Be prepared to compromise as a last resort but do not get sucked in. You've got to get them to buy your offer, not let them sell you theirs
3) Stick to it

I offer support tools to help.solicitory info deleted.

I believe in you.
