Allied Interstate is calling my home asking for my mother. She does not live with me and has not been at this address for 20 years, and this was NEVER her phone number. They are rude when they call, have refused until recently to identify themselves, and continue to call here despite the fact that I have told them repeatedly that this is NOT her phone number. How can I get them to stop calling me?

You should register a complaint against allied interstate immediately. Under FDCPA Act, collection agencies can't behave rudely with the consumers. They are also forbidden from calling third party more than one time. Clearly, they are violating the federal laws. Take a look at the following page to know about how to deal with allied interstate:
