Hello

I have a couple of payday loans that I havent been able to pay them.

My bank account is overdraft so its frozen so its very frustrating for me.

I owe this loans and I want to pay them off. But I dont have any documentation so I dont know who i need to contact or where.

Now someone is calling me from a phone # 732-231-6372 and threating to arrest me for check fraud or something like that I cant barely understand him on the phone.

What should I do ?

Well you have come to the right place. Do you have any emails from these companies. I'm assuming these are all online lenders that you are dealing with. Have you taken a look at your bank statements to see what the names are on the transactions. Maybe your bank can also help you with this.
Tell the person that is calling you from that number that you need them to send you a statment.

That number is tied to one of the many collection agencies talked about on this site. They are going to threated you with all kinds of illegal tactics.

Since you have registered with the site a credit counselor will be contacting you to discuss your situation. You will definatly need to find out who all of your PDL's belong to so you can get these taken care of as soon as possible. May I also ask what state you live in, because each state has certain laws that PDL's need to follow and most of the internet PDL's have not been following the rules.

732-231-6372 is United Federal Bank's number. They are a collection agency who is trying to collect on your account. Ask them to validate your debt before you send them any money. By laws, they are required to prove their authorization for collecting on your debts. If they don't send you anything, send a DV letter through certified mail and return receipt requested. This should prove your actions taken to resolve the matter. Call the original company and make your payment arrangements.

No, they can't arrest you and it is very illegal for them to threaten you with arrest. Several people have had problem with this company who is calling you and we are encouraging everybody to file a complaint with your Attorney General's office and also the FTC. Also file a complaint with the Florida Attorney General's office where this company is working out of. Tell them you are award of your rights and that you know everything they are saying and doing is illegal and you are filing complaints. Tell them you need to see this debt validated before you will discuss any payment arrangements.
