I have 5 cc's. I know, bad choice. I want to settle on 3 and keep to active. Can I do that? Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Most consolidation and settlement companies don't require you to include all of your cards as long as your budget will bear it. It's very different from bankruptcy where you have to list all of your debts and can only keep some of them (through a process called "reaffirmation") with the court's permission.
