Is there anyone on the forum who has dealt with MyCashNow for payday loans? If so, what are your experiences with them, such as making payment arrangements and such?

They would not accept any of my payment arrangements. I even had my credit counselor send them payment proposals and they would not agree to any of them. I went back and forth on the phone with the for a few months. They finally sent me to a nasty collection agency that is talked about on this site. Allen Lewis and Associates. I wish I would have found this site prior to dealing with them. I ended up paying them in two installments just to get them paid off and out of my hair.

I told them I was going to the AG.. they told me they were legal..I did file with the AG and the Dept of Corp.. still waiting to hear..but I just stopped payment on my account and will wait until next week to contact them and make arrangents on what the state of CA allows.. and take the beating.. But for the most part you have to stop paying to get the attn... But will not give them access to my acct again.. and it is Credit Depot that you need to contact. 1 866 645 1661
this is the number for arrangents..

jmac, have you done any payment on your account with MyCashNow?

Chances of negotiations with any loan company gets very slim if you are behind in your payments by more than two to three months. But if you have been current all this time and have defaulted in the first month, you can cut a deal. If you are unable to arrange anything positive with MyCashNow, take professional advice.

I just heard back from "my cash now" in regards to the letter that I drafted to them about going against the payday loan laws of Michigan. I had sent them a letter with my proposed payment arrangement, which was to pay back the principal only, and they called me this morning saying that they have closed my account and will not require further payment on the loan. She said it will be considered Paid in Full, however I will never be able to borrow from them again.

When I asked the lady if I could get something in writing documenting that the account is closed and PAID IN FULL, she said they don't provide anything in writing since this was an internet payday loan. What should I do? I'm just worried that if something ever comes up down the line where they try to be shady and report to the credit bureau, I won't have any proof. The lady said they do not report to credit bureaus, however I know these places can't be trusted. Any suggestions?
