Do I pay any fee to you or others if you give me advice on how to create and follow the DIY method? Do I just contact my creditors directly. We have not made a late payment yet but our balances are increasing. Thank you so much.

If you do sign up with a company for either consumer credit counseling or debt settlement, then you would pay a fee to them.
When you mention DIY, are you referring to systematically paying your debts off or to settling them for less than you owe?
