Need help finding a Lender who isn't shady!

I have been attempting at numerous places to recieve a personal loan for around 8000. My credit score is a 656, and after recieving an offer letter from Discover I figured I would apply to pay off my credit cards. I have not had success getting approved for a loan of any sort, does anyone know of a legitimate lender that I may have success with?

With a credit score of 656 you are very unlikely to get an unsecured loan , much less one with a reasonable interest rate. Can you afford to make all the minimums on your credit cards and maybe just need lower interest rates ? If so your next best option would be a debt management plan with a non-profit consumer credit counseling agency. They can get you one payment at much lower aprs so you can get out of debt.
