what does everyone think of freedom financial network? i have heard mixed reviews (and are they also known by another name?)

I don't think they are listed with BBB. Personally I wouldn't have worked with a company that has no listing with BBB. Anyway, you may wait for the feedback from other members. But while choosing a debt management company you must check the following before joining a program.
Business record: both with BBB and FTC.
Fees: are they charging fees upfront
Compare cost: with other settlement firms
