I am making my payments on time but do not see a light at end of tunnel is it possible to consolidated even though you are not behind in you payments. Thank You


I, myself, am in the same boat and was wondering what I can do to negotiate my debt down or consolidate. I am current paying everything but I may not be able do it for long.

It is possible to negotiate debt or debt settlment with CC companies, such as AMEX, Citibank, when you are current and not in default?

Your help and response is greatly appreciated.

Yes, of course it is possible. debt consolidation is only a loan, so you can apply for one whenever you like. Eg. - You can take several of your loans & pay them all off with the one consolidation loan. This generally makes it easier for you to manage your debts. It doesn't matter if you are behind on payments or not.
