Midland doesnt believe in goodwill.

Goodwill is rare since a debtor is not a customer.....the term goodwill is usually offered to good customers and to people you want to keep as customers. Midland could care less about debtors they have collected from.

First of all send a written request to the Midland Funding to validate the debt. If they don't validate the debt, then send a cease and desist letter to them. After that you can dispute the account status with credit bureaus and ask them to remove the listing from your credit report. If you owe money to the Midland, then settle your debts with them. Negotiate a Pay For Delete settlement agreement with them. Thereby, they will remove the listing after settling the debts.
