Since you can`t afford the minimums you could just let them fall behind and settle them on your own. You can`t have you disability check garnished and even if you were not on disability NC is a non-garnishment state.

They can sue you if they wanted to but you can`t be garnished wh
They can sue you if they wanted to but you can`t be garnished which basically means a lawsuit and judgment would be worth as much money as the paper its printed on. If they serve you papers to go to court just be sure to show up.
credit card debt
my husband and myself are in debt with credit cards about 120,000 and he out of work needs heart surgery.I am also disable. We have being paying but savings is running out.We have a home also two house both our children living in.We get no income from the house they pay only the monthy payment. Can they take our homes if we stop paying?. What legal actions can they take?
