Validation of Debt
Hello,
You're entitled to request validation of debt from LVNV (or whomever is collecting on their behalf).
Simply fax a letter to the collector, asking that they validate the debt, including the original account number, original creditor, statements and original contract.
If you believe the debt is valid, and you're not really looking for all of this information, you may simply place a call to LVNV, and they will be able to provide you with the original creditor, account number, balance, etc.
Best of luck to you!
