Has anyone dealt with these people? I have paid the principal ($300.00 + 60.00) now they want $300.00 more. I have filed complaints against them, but it just doesn't seem to phase them...

That's professional. Have you filed your complaints with your AGs office? If so, contact them in reference to your complaint and provide them with this communication. Also, I don't believe a company who isn't licensed in a consumer's state will have much luck suing being that they are not licensed to lend in that state. You should also contact the NM AGs office to file a complaint as well, provide them with the communication you received from Nationwide. NM will tell you that this company must follow your state laws, not NM.

I have the same problem with them except i wasnt threathen like Washred, i asked for a copy of the signed agreement and copy of the check they required i faxed to give me an account and guess what?? they don't have one because i never fax it to them.
So now they guy says the "manager" is reviewing my case.
these people are so bogus and so quick to scam that they make this stupid mistakes...i'm glad i read that "agreement" againg.

another thing is Washred and I have the same amount on our loans but she has a higher interest rate than i do how that heck does that work?? these is a proven fact tt they are a scam.

maybe they pick they interest rate out of a hat or when they have bad day they give the highest rate...i'm wondering about that and i think next time they bug me i will ask them how they determine the interest rates! just to pissed them off a little...or a lot

What a joke. The Lynne Kennard must have really put a lot of effort into writing that email. She's probably proud of her accomplishment, thinks it will make people so scared that they will pay extortionate amounts of money.

You should reply to it and just say "LOL -- my attorney and I got a kick out of reading this, we can't stop laughing. We thought the AG might like a good laugh so we forwarded it to them as well."

I wouldn't doubt that they keep trying to debit the account, knowing they won't get anything, just to rack up the NSF fees. I bet every time they try to pull funds, and no success, they probably throw another $25 on your balance.

The banks should hold these places responsible. To me, trying to debit your account without permission, is the same as taking one of your checks and forging your signature. It's an unauthorized transaction, period. Why do the banks let it keep happening?

Debtcruncher, You are exactly right. The banks should hold these people accountable. Washred, keep up the fight. These people need to be brought down. KYSIDE38

I used customerservice(at)nationwidecash.com or you can try whoever you talked to on the phone. I generally e-mail them about 2 or 3 times a day. You might want to try jimmie(at)nationwidecash.com. He is supposed to be some type of supervisor or manager. I e-mailed all of the laws from Ohio that they were breaking along with the lawsuit that was filed in California earlier this year. And I cc the ag in Ohio and the FTC. I don't know if it helps, but it can't hurt.

These people are ripoffs I don't what if recourse I have I'm in Maine. They have taken over $1300.00 on a $500.00 loan that they only credited my account $450.00 to start with. Does anyone know if I have any recourse? Aren't they subject to the laws in the State I'm in or only in thier state?
