I signed a contract with a company that sold products for homes, soon after my financial situation got very bad and lost house and lots of debt. I am now trying to clean up credit. I have this one creditor, for which i owe 1500.00 and i don't know what to do. Should i send letter for settlement, i have received no correspo. From them. Help, so close to having a good score

Well did you sign up for the debt counseling when you joined. If you did that entitles you to a free debt consultation and if you haven't then you need to. They will be able to offer you some ideas of what you can do with your situation.

Who is this debt with, and when did it go in default, if it did.

I am assuming that you got this info from your credit report, so it will tell you if it is past the SOL, or if it's getting ready to fall off your report-look and see when that date is also.
