T&C help or hurt credit score

Hey everyone! I just joined and just signed up with T+C. I was wondering if anybody has finished their contract and if in the end it helped or hurt your credit score. I know that its better to have paid stuff than not but i heard that using these debt settlement companies will negatively affect your credit report and score. The girls i have talked to at t+c all say that the program will improve your credit rating but i would like to know if this is true from people who have experience. Thanx!
