How do I get paid medical bill removed from my credit report?

Ava, you won't be able to remove paid medical bill from your credit report. Negative items stay on your credit report for 7 years. You could have requested the collection agency to agree to a "Pay for delete" (PFD) agreement. With PFD agreement all the negatives from your account gets deleted.
However, you can try sending a goodwill letter to the collection agency. You can use the sample Goodwill letter from http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/letters/goodwill-removelisting.html . Send the letter through certified mail, requesting a return receipt.
