What makes you feel scared in doing business with Credit Solutions of America? Can you tell us more on this so that we can offer you better direction?

The address is Adison, TX. I am not late on any of my cc, but we have them racked up to about $25,000, and it is getting very hard to make the minimums. I just want to have an end in sight and this just seems to good to be true. I was also looking into Superior debt relief.

Thanks for responding.

Most of the members here support Superior debt relief to be a better choice. You can have a thorough discussion with the consultant and know your payment options. The total amount of your debt can be reduced to a lower amount depending upon the negotiations done by your company. Do a research on the companies before making your final decision. Perhaps, you can register in this site for a free counseling and maybe SDR will contact you.

Credit Solutions has a beautiful office--a friend of mine visited them for a face-to-face meeting--but our clients always claimed that they were contacting us (law firm) when they in fact were not. I think our attorneys were more than happy to deal with out-of-court settlements, but the haggling and bargaining that some settlement companies employed were often counter-productive. My suggestion to you is this: find a company that offers various options, including bankruptcy, so that the alternatives are explicitly underscored and the differences well explained. Without that, you're going to be comparing apples and oranges. In general, no settlement program will be a quick-fix solution, unless you are already well delinquent. OTherwise, credit counseling may be the better, albeit more expensive, alternative.

In general, the best--defined as professional and authoritatively clear--debt "management" firm were settlement or credit counseling companies that adequately represented the correct picture to our mutual clients. Other times, you could clearly tell that a dearth of communication between the client and the settlement/CC firm made resolving the matters difficult and prolonging. I would suggest joining a company if and only if they invoke a sense of responsibility, understanding, and reassurance in you.

Regards,
John

Anthony you are correct. Credit Solutions is Credit Solutions of America . They are bad news.

They are a perfect example of why the settlement industry has a bad rep and why I stress strongly checking company's out on the BBB. NOT all settlement company's are bad but a lot are. debt settlement is a relatively new industry "about 10 years old " and there isn`t alot of government regulations yet supervising these company's.

DO not do business with them! I Made the mistake of falling for their crap. I wasn't even behind on my payments, I just wanted to pay them down faster and they convinced me to let them go delinquent and they would settle with them for much cheaper. So far all they have done is take my money and ruin my credit. I could have paid off some of my debt with the amount of money they scammed me for.

Im afraid i may have walked into something that I shouldn't have. I just started working at creditsolutions.com and I am wondering if the rumors about the two week rule are true. DO they fire you in two weeks if you dont produce sales?
