I just had a call from my HR Director about a letter she received from CTC demanding that my company send them money! Not a garnishment, but they wanted my check! I told HR that I was filing bk and under no circumstances send these people money. My HR Director said that she would deal with them.

i gave them my hr department a letter of revokment but she is still talking about taking my money she said you need to pay your bills i said tried to make arrangements but they will not take what i offered them i was told if theyturn me down thats on them but if my job give them this money of cause they will get it yes i will pm you fin if thats ok tell me how and when to do it, i really think god for this form i feel like i back in control even with these people tring to act up. i sent the lady a revoke letter with a notary public signature she has it in my file i dont knw why she is fighting me, i told her to send me a copy of the intent letter she did i got it today, she said she got it on wednesday another one on thursday so how long fin or steeler or who ever knows do i have to send another one is she aloud to take it out now are is she suppose to wait 21 days before taking action. i need to know how much time i have.

Wow. Sounds like you can get your HR lady in some trouble. First off, she is NOT ALLOWED to tell you to pay your bills. That constitutes harrassment, and she should know that. Second, she needs to read up on some of the federal intent to withhold laws..And I'd tell her that if I met her!!!

To be honest, you don't have much time. When the next checks are cut the assignment would be deducted. I will find some info for you, you can give it to her. I will also talk you through a letter of defense that ***should be*** foolproof. I will do everything in my power to help you get that woman to get it, I promise.

In the meantime, relax..Do you know who this HR ladies supervisor is?

And...You can pm me by clicking the pm button under my post.

hi fin i have not sent it so i send the letter on the form plus a copy of the revoke letter to the company and i will send another one to the hr but i sent them one i dont know why she is even questioning me about this, i tried to make an arrangement with ctc but they said they would only take full payment no arrangement from me only through my job they just want to make me look bad. i will be so glad when this is over, its getting there a little closer than before, so i am happy about that not over but close, so fin this should stop them should i fax this to the creditor or how to do it?

I agree..DEFINITELY send a copy certified to the creditor, return receipt. If it makes you feel better, fax them a copy as well..But MAKE SURE you send it certified too, very important, you may need the proof.

By all means hand it to the HR lady..How could you possibly miss an opportunity like that!

texas i have no time to send it in the mail i was told that they could take the money out on the next check, i already got a demand letter and a vol. wage assingment, what do you think about that? i will give another copy to the hr lady she already have one so why is she not honoring it why am i being asks by her to pay my creditors i am tring to they want except, now just send all the letters i do not have an account checking to give them to deduct i think they are afraid if they dont get this way they will not get it. so i fax and certify or how long do a certify take.

Fax one to the pdl company, MAIL them by certified, return receipt US Mail a hard cover. Give the HR woman just like finfans told you, a *revocation* letter & also send that with the other letters to the pdl compamy.

This is the only time you will ever read or hear me say "MAKE THE TIME". Anyone responding to your postings is working hard to to help you, ok? But, YOU have to do the foot work, IE... MAIL your letters & hand deliver to your HR people. Not being mean, rude, crude or otherwise. Go back, reread evrything you've posted & the comments supplied, jot down notes if you have to. In the end, it's up to you to get 'er done laverne.

I'm not right there to do it for you. Believe me there isn't anything more that I'd enjoy than to go embarrass the living hell out of an HR person & that PDL company would be paid a visit in person. I do not have a problem being nasty in live & living color. Now relax, calm down, understand the situation & communicate with these people clearly.

okie dokie?

Laverne--

Also mail a copy of the wage assignment revocation letter to this address. It is one that Paydayavenue had told my payroll dept to mail payments to, but she is not going to honor it b/c I revoked it. I also gave her a copy of the info that I posted on the previous page about wage assignments

They got all their money off me, thank god they are done. They were the worst to deal with, they will not cooperate for nothing, stay away from them, they are evil.

OK - so they called again today!! My hr person knows that I have revoked the wage assignment - at least 10 times in the last 2 monthes, so no problem there, but this company does not have a good system for sharing info! Tis Courtney Carter that called ( I also talked to her) said there is nothing in my files that indicate that I have had any communication with CTC! Nothing about my bk, or the revocation letter - Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing! So now for the 11th time I am sending all of the info and ccing it to the ag's office and the FTC . This Courtney person tells me that she is unable to receive incoming e-mails, so I asked her if she was a prison person -(didn't go over very well) they are the only people that I know who cannot receive incoming phone calls and e-mails. So the cycle begins again!!

listen forum i called cashnet usa they will take my offer but only by money gram what do you think now on my email they said i could have money order but now they say it takes a money order too long to get to them, i said but you have a chicago address, they still did not want to do one just the money gram and they only want to do it there way i said i will pay them but could not pay 291 dollars right now but could send something to them. they say well we will take less but we will still call you because that is not the amount they want me to pay, but would apply it to the principle. ok guys i need advice.now i faxed over the revoke letters ctc have not heard from them also sent them a certified letter so i sent both to them i will see what happens,? i told hr but this lady seems as though she want to give them my money.

Why would they want to use Moneygram instead of a money order in the mail? Lemme git in 'hood mode here....Ok, here we go! Because it's faster than daylight, I can cash it immediately, split the percent up with my bro's..and be gone in a flash.

All of that long before the poleece show up anywhere. How's that for an explaination?

;)

I'm with Texas on that one. If they've given you a physical address, I would stand firm on that and insist that you're going to send them a moneyorder. Based on personal experience this is much less expensive for you. Steelers is right, in that the settlement offer is a good one (50 percent), but the moneygram fees would kill you. I would tell them I'd send them a money order and then send it certified mail, signature required, so you have proof they got it.

Laverne--

When they contacted my payroll dept about the wage assignment, they gave an address of where to send payments, if my payroll was gonna honor the assignment, which she is not, but here is the address.

I agree with you Irish on the certified bank check(cashier's check). I pay certain bills with cashier's checks b/c they are quicker to trace than a money order bought from a convenient store. They are a little more expensive, but it's worth it in the long run, especially if someone says they never received it. My bank charges $7 for a cashier's check.

Cash transfer Center is finally out of my life and I am one happy camper. I faxed them a revocation letter for voluntary wage assignment, seen a different side of them then. They were mean. They are paid off now and out of my hair. Just a few more to go and I will be home free in a month or two.
