If this forum is legit, why has no one brought up the task for the moderators to contact Hess Kennedy via email to info at hess kennedy company law dot com?

I complained to the BBB because this site referred me to Consumer credit counseling of America. consumer credit counseling of america told me that my credit would not get harmed, etc.

they sent me the contract AFTER they took a first payment. The Hess Kennedy contract has a notice to consumers that my credit could get harmed and that it could take 2 years until i had enough money in escrow.

I tried calling Hess Kennedy, but there customer services sucked. Now however, i can get rigth through and i know at least 5 lawyers that have worked on my file.

the CCCOA BBB complaint when no where. I contacted hess through their website and received a full refund. They told me that one of the debt collectors violated the law 4 times and I gave them permission to sue on my behalf. They currenttly are suing the debt collector and even though i cancelled, they said i get the damages from the law suit.

If this forum is legit, why has not one moderator stepped up? Why are all the attacks personal attacks from "guests".

Something smells here. This site is obviously a referral site for debt management companies. But so what. Even though i received bad information from my counselor, i still received the services offered in my contract and when we complained to hess about customer service, they did something.

I think that someone needs to step up from debt consolidationcare and email hess directly. otherwise it is a scam.

Cajun,

You have posted the most helpful information. You should contact them and see if any of the posts here are legit. i read through most of them and you can tell which posts are really clients and which are debt collectors who are scared to contact Hess Kennedy clients because they are getting sued.

This site has alway promoted to read through the threads but to also do some research on your own time such as contacting the BBB and your states AG to get any feedback on a company before you use them...No one here has ever recommended something to me and then not put that behind their statement...

Since a competing debt settle/cons company is trying to trash my good name as well as my board, perhaps I will explain the process again. Our forum generates leads to these companies and when members request debt counseling, those companies on our ranking chart are utilized by the counselor who is going to try and match each person's unique situation with a company. We do not recommend any companies here and instruct any member or guest to check out the company with the Better Business bureau and the Attorney General of the particular state before signing any written agreements.I have also added they contact local bar association if company is a law firm to check out his/her reputation. I have posted on three or four different firms here on the board assisting clients and former clients in getting the services they were singed on to receive. Hopefully this explains a little better how things are done here and the Guest/Hess employee can go back to what you were doing before.

No one here pretends to help...we do help. And I know because when I came here I needed help and got it...So stop trying to disrespect our board and our members because you are either a) as cajunbulldog said, a Hess employee with nothing better to do or b)someone who failed to do the proper research before going with a company....Any advice given on this board is from personal experience and everyone should research ANY company before signing away on a contract...Langhorne was recommended to me but after I carefully researched their company, I discovered that they are not the company that I want to be in business with.

From what I am reading, sounds similar to other posts this way and could be an employee or someone trying to stir things up.

As stated, everyone is encouraged to research the companies they choose to use and make their own decisions from there. No one is saying Mr Smith has to use this company or that company, he has to make the decision for himself. Good and bad that is on here is from people's experiences. Some people will have a bad experience with a company and someone else will have a good one. Everyone has to judge for themselves, but someone coming on here and carrying on the way you have done does not do anything to improve the companies image. If you had a good experience with them great! Tell us about it, but don't come on here putting this forum down. This place has helped me with some things and I am still getting help and am getting help for others. There is always something to learn from other's experiences, good and bad.

To me, the scam seems to be the original poster, not the forum. JMO
