how about a good mixed drink recipe? I saw one on Emerils the other day and I cant get it out of my mind, he made a Whiskey Sour. Home made, well the sour mix.. it looked soooo good. I can almost taste the lemon and cherries.

I never drank one.. I am a margarita and/or Sailor Jerry Rum drinker.... LOL!

woo hoo. Love the vodka.. hey have you tried Cherry Vodka? I am not one for the "flavor" liquors. BUT my friend turned me on to Cherry Vodka and Diet Mountain Dew-Code Red.. or you can have reg. Vodka with reg Mountain Dew Code red.

tonite, i am going to perkings restuarant and get me a premium omelett, with hash browns or breakfast potatoes, probably get the breakfast potatoes, plus my choice of 3 buttermilk pancakes, toast or a fresh-baked muffin. probably get the pancakes. get a glass of coke. got a coupon for all that for $4.99. Afterwards, i am going to go home and go to sleep to get ready for job hunting tomorrow.

And that all sounds very yummy! I love breakfast but NOT at breakfast time! I can't eat in the morning but i love it at night!

Hey Granny,..I wish they had perkins out here where I live...Love their muffins!!

My favorite dish is fresh seafood fra diavlo! All those things in hot red sauce seved with pasta with crusty dunking bread. Unfortunately a lot of restaurants use this as a special to get rid of all their old seafood.

I have a Perkins 2 minutes away and I have never been there. I must find that coupon!

i know luke is going to be disappointed, but i am going to put off the wedding for awhile. i don't have a job right now and i don't want him to foot all my bill and his bills too. so when i get a job and get on my feet, we'll talk about it. Matter of fact, where is luke? i haven't talked to him in a couple of days and i am getting worried. might have to put a missing person alert out on him. and of course, you can be the flower girl. any volunteers for bridesmaids? :D

frog, the coupon was in last sunday's paper and i saved it for a special day and today is the day!!

OOOH Perkins is yummy.. I always get the muffins when I go.. I havent seen a Perkins since I have been back in NC. I used to eat at the one in Cocoa Bch.. good hangover food.. yumm yumm good.............

went to perkins and got my omelette and breakfast potatoes and pancakes. boy, was it delicious. i am so full. also, i got a cinnamon roll that had cream cheese icing on it. was scrumptious. after eating all that, i had to lay down. since i have been off work, i have gained 15 pounds. no longer wearing a size 8-10, now i am in my "fat" clothes, a size 12 and they are getting tight.

Not together. The clam sauce, then the mussels and garlic mmmmmmmm. We eat mussels when we go to Moms it is one of her favs.

Hey...I was in Cocoa Beach last week...got some great crab cakes..I haven't had them for awhile. They were great!!!

left over steak. Got home late so it was perfect to warm up quick.

right now, i am drinking alka-selzers as a late night drink. :(

Crab cakes are great. I went to Baltimore and had them a Phillips ...Love that place.

Raised on the beaches of California you learn to love all kinds of seafood delights. My all-time favorite is swordfish steak..fantastic!

that is good too....especially blackened.

It is great that way...I love just about all seafood..however my dad use to eat raw oysters with milk and crackers...that was just not my style...I prefered mine cooked.

I like em raw but no milk :) BEER instead!

Pismo Beach, Oceano...great for dune buggies. Ventura..Santa Barbara...dad was a cement contractor so we move alot...we finally moved to Palmdale which is on the Mohave Desert and worked at Edwards Air Force Base.

Know exactly where all those places are...Edwards yikes...that is definitely out there in the desert.

We drive down to Pismo 1-2 a year but mostly to Half Moon Bay and Big Sur.

Is there a difference between east coast & west coast seafood with taste? I've never been west & when ever we get seafood in restaurants here its from Massachussettes or north.

Know Big Sur...great surfing my brother use to surf but I was never good at it...but I did do some clam digging...that was fun. Had some good times out there but I've been living in the midwest for quit a few years now...but I still miss the fresh seafood.

Lawn-Taste? Hard to say because different species of fish, shellfish, etc. are indiginous to East and West coast specifically due to water temps.

I love the breadsticks especially the ones with pepperoni in them...with cheese sauce. That's the best!

I couldn't eat pizza for the LONGEST time...maybe 2 months before my gallbladder was taken out & even after. Just started eating it again-Baby was making me crave pizza!

I can't let this thread go one day with no post. I called and asked my wife what we are doing for dinner tonight. Her response, "I thawed two chicken cutlets." The real meaning: "You figure it out!" Sounds like stir fried whatever tonight. I will let you know what became of it!
