Friday night is mommy does not cook night...we are more than likely going to Mexican...fajitas ...yum!!

Stir fry is GOOD! I'm going out for a Fish Fry tonight, with my boyfriends mom and his brother (He has to work :( ) TGIF!!!!

4:45 and time to start planning the stop at the store. I think snow peas and mushrooms would be nice with a shot of that asian hot sauce. I will have to see what they have. See you Monday Volley! Have a great weekend!

Yeah the desserts are good, but the problem is you are only suppose to eat one at a time. I can eat the whole box

Well, If you do the points thing can't you just count them in your points. (I so not know...I can not do WW because I gain weight every time I try it) But I do like the desserts

That would be something I would do. When i tried it after my son was born, it was exchanges...then I tried again and it was something different. the first time I gained 12 pounds in 2 weeks, the second time I gained 14 pounds in 4 weeks and then gave up. Now being diabetic, I have a whole new set of rules.

Oh no Rox..I am sorry to hear about the diabetes :cry:

Diets in general are just plain hard. We did Weight Watchers at work...went ok the first 2 weeks, after that down the tubes!

Rox, did the birth of your son bring on the diabetes

Yes, I had gestational diabetes...and it can stay after the birth but mine did not however, that just made it more likely I would get it later. I lost about 70 pounds after my son was born so that helped keep my sugar under control. I ballooned up when we moved here and I was boderline again...then We all went on this fitness kick and I lost 47 punds..I am 5'9 and am about 165 now and my sugar skyrocketed and i was diagnosed again. I told my mom and she told me my dad, his sister and mom and my mom's brother and his two children are all type 2 diabetic. My dad was not overweight and neither are my uncle and his kids so our genetics are just wierd. It is not so bad..atleast I eat healthier

In moderation. When I was pregnant I was really careful. I am still learning which foods make my sugar go up. Any more nothing is really completely off limits...it is the ammount. I still eat dark choclate squares and stuff, just not the whole candy bar at one timer.

Its good you can still enjoy some treats in moderation :)

Yes...but nothing compares to the real thing and I would have a little of the real thing sometimes than alot of sugar free.

let me tell you what i had yesterday and is going to eat leftovers today. okay i cooked green beans seasoned with ham hocks with cut up red potatoes in it, boiled squash seasoned with red peppers and onions, a pork roast seasoned with green peppers, onions, seasoned salt, and cream of celery soup, cornbread with butter, sweet iced tea with lemon, and strawberry cake. good old southern meal :D and delicious

Granny, what time is dinner? I will be there to help you polish off those left overs. Sounds delicious
