It's frustrating because it's not the first time . . . . He will attack, then say he's sorry and suck up . . . . He needs to learn that it's not okay to attack in the first place, and just because you apologize, while nice, doesn't make it okay to act out in the first place.

I agree with Goudah - apologizing and smoothing ruffled feathers after you've ticked someone off is great, and a nice gesture, but if you're only doing it to keep in the site's good graces, then it rings rather hollow on the ears of those offended.

As suggested by Vikas, I've mailed as well as PMed him regarding the issue. Let see if he picks up any. If he replies back then we can straighten-out the matter with him.

I've noticed he stopped posting for a few days about a week or so ago, after Jason pm'd him the first time, and then came back full force, and when someone said they missed him and welcomed him back, he said he was just "trying to stay out of trouble".

I think I may have an idea why he can't receive pm's . . . . I clicked on his "homepage" a few days ago and it was the page for a different james. I'm thinking maybe the pm's we send him are going to this other james.

Is it possible for 2 people to register with the same name? Do inactive usernames go dead?

Good point, Goudah. I noticed he was posting as "jamesj" for a while and now is just "james".

Jamesj was as a guest, and James is a registered member.

After looking much further into this situation, I can say I don't think he is out to hurt any members of this site. I believe his motives are more personal and he is trying to get back at a family member . . . That is involved in the pdl business. But as long as his information is helpful, and he keeps the insults down, I think he could be a good member.

Although I am beginning to think he is only out to stop one payday loan company, not all of them.

Okay, he has replied to my mail. I'm now hopeful to solve the issue faster. :)

BTW I feel goudah that he is bit slow in the process of learining and hence has upset the others with his acts.

I noticed too that he is answering as a guest these days - and that he posted a copy of an e-mail he sent to a state official claiming to have "extensive knowledge of the internet companies preying on Washington residents"...and used what may be his real name? I'm hoping that with all his "extensive knowledge", he's not silly enough to post his real name on a public website.

It is not his real name - I know what his real name is and it is not James Rogerson.

I've done a lot of research into him and his background.

I can tell you this - He doesn't work for a pdl, but has in the past. People in his family still own a pdl, and have been in the industry for quite a while.

Yes, that is correct . . . . Anyone can do that. For instance, when I respond to his emails my name comes up as being Goudah 2424

I didn't figure that for his real name, he uses "James Rogers" on his own site. He definitely has an agenda, and my hopes are that no one gets harmed in the process.

With the exception of pdl's. :lol:

I'm pretty sure his agenda will not hurt members. I believe it's largely personal - He is out to get a family member. But as long as the information helps others, I have no problem with him doing this for personal reasons.

Helping others is the key.
