Advice Please!

Hello,
I like most people today am experiencing a very difficult time. I currently owe about $4000 in medical bills and old credit cards. I also have fallen behind on my mortgage payment. I also owe my real estate taxes. I also had to take a pay cut which doesn't make things easier. I have set up a budget and have cut back on many things, but I still am having trouble. I am not sure what to do and am thinking about filing bankruptcy, but I don't know alot about it. I have also looked into debt counseling or settlement, but they don't want to help me because I don't have $10,000 or more in debt (without the mortgage). Any suggestions?

If its getting to the point where you are falling behind on your mortgage Its obvious you are very overextended. If I were in your shoes I would definitely consider speaking with a bankruptcy attorney.
