I have about 11 credits cards, 2 personal loans and 4 store cards. Some with high balances. My total revolving balance on these is about $23,000. Never had a late payment on any of these account, but I feel I will fall behind any minute now, because wife is pregnant and had to take over her bills. My credit score is between 650-680. Can someone give me some advice on what to do? Thought about a consolidation loan, but I don't own a home. And the other option that I have will affect my credit, if I am not mistaken, right? I need some advice. All help will be very appreciated. Thank you!

The are tons of them out there. Just be sure when shopping around that they are a 501(c) 3 Non profit business. In order for a credit counseling company to receive benefits such as reduced interest rates, waiving late fees, etc from the creditors, the agency must have its 501(c) 3 Non profit business license. Typically if a company does not have this license, they are unable to receive the benefits for their clients.

Try calling 800-601-1579. They can give you free counseling and perhaps refer you to one.
