I just had my Discover account turned over to this group. It was a little confusing from the letter I received which stated the were "engaged by Discover Card tor resolve your delinquent debt". So I figured that Discover still owned the debt, and this group was just collecting it (similar to what happened with Citi/UCB on another card). But when I called Discover they said it was "sold" to a 3rd party and gave me a 800 number, which prompted me to another 800 number, which turned out to be this outfit.

Then I come to find out they called my mother-in-law today and left a v-mail, which seems odd because my wife is not listed on my account (the card pre-dates our marriage) and my mother-in-law has never been used or listed on any application on my part. They have been leaving me messages, so I'm not terribly happy they are playing the "call relatives" card. But it is what it is, I can suffer the embarrassment.

I sent out my validation letter today, so we'll see what happens next.

Anyone have experience dealing with CMS?
