I just received a first letter from them today in the mail saying they have been retained for Midland funding llc for possible suit, I have no idea what this debt is possibly for. I'm going to send off a DV first thing tomorrow and see if I can get some information on what this could possibly be for. The only thing it states is that an attorney from their office has not had the chance to look over my particular file yet and of course telling me I need to pay the amount of 524.08 or they will have no choice but to proceed with legal actions. I really don't have any idea what this could possibly be for and I'm not showing Midland even on my credit report. Just wondered if anyone has heard of this law office and if they have any complaints against them or anything.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

I am starting to battle these clowns now

Same story as above. Just got a "warrant in debt" for my 83 yr old mom. No explanation given as to the reason! I don't want her in court to have to pay law fees as well but have no idea what they are saying her debt is due to? Cannot contact them either or the company that claims it was involved.

Yep I joined the ranks when I didnt pay the Capital One Bill. By the way Im not a slacker who runs up bills just for fun and then not pay. My husban lost 1/2 of his income in this crappy economy (he is on commision). It takes everything I make to afford food for my children, keep a roof over their heads, and clothed. My husband pays the other miscellanios expenses from his pay (h2o bill, electric, insurance etc...) Form what I understand Dominion law is a debt collector they are who filed on me for Capital one bank. The summons states that Capital One is the Plaintiff, yet when i called cap one they tell me the debt was charged off and I dont owe it to them. Will that fly in court? I looked thru the county court records for capital one and anytime DLA was listed (I searched probably 30 cases or so) all except for 3 were apparently a non suit. The other 3 were garnishments. Are the bets on that DLA wont show up for court? Should I be prepared to go in fighting to keep my kids fed, housed, and clothed. Shall I try and bring evidence that I dont owe this money to Capital one bank? Help please this is driving me crazy! I am ready to file Bankruptcy and be done with these ppl. I just havent even talked tothem when they call, and either not answer or hang up on them. Luckily our home phone only rings in to the basement and we hardly ever go down there!

:-xI have a letter from Dominion Law Associates- requesting that I pay on a debt - "old credit card" -- So, I called the numbers: 1-800-989-0009 and 1-757-446-7540 -- only to be LOOPED and LOOPED to a machine. Noone is there. SO.... I went to their "pay site" (there is noway in hell they will get money out of me through that cheesy site. I researched the BBB -- it appears-- noone has filed against Dominion Law Associates. I am distrssed and not sure how to handle this from here on out. Oh yeah-- Had a friend of mine-- who RESIDES in VA BEACH- (where Dominion Law Associates is supposidly located) 222 Central Park Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23462-3026--THEY are accross the street from the FUnny Bone Night Club... Which is in a STORE front area. They don't even have a NAME on the building;. The building they showed on their pay site-- -DOES NOT EXIST. DO NOT SEND YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. SCAMMERS- I am RESEarching these Attorneys. as well.

I tried to get a reply from but they probably just delete it. All they what is your money the credit card companys would never make mistakes. I have certified mail receipts where Tribute Master Card signed for my payment at the post office and did not process till after the due date. Tribute said it was my fault for not giving them enough time to process it. They never took off the late charges or restored the APR. My account has been trough 4 different collection companies, they all tried to get me to pay for the charges on this account that never should have been there.
Domionion Law Accociates is part of Pender & Coward the real law firm behind this ripoff.
Here is a link to main company name where ther is a listing of the layers. our_lawyers.html
