What kind of company is Northway? PS-they have to take you to court to get a wage garnishment against you and that takes time.
Not only do they have to take you to court to get a wage garnish
Not only do they have to take you to court to get a wage garnishment, if they do and you have been making partial payments to them it will look better for you in the eyes of the judge, that you have tried to make payments even if they are only partial.

Northway
Nothway is Cash Tranfer Centers. They will send a wage assignment to your employer. You must send them a letter to revoke it and give a copy to your payroll dept. They will also contact your refs. if you don't call them back. When they fail at there tactics they will send a settlement offer from Ecare which is their company. Mine was for 60% of the original amount. I took it and they sent me a release letter via email. They are based in Malta. I can get you that address if you need it. Someone in the forum said they were kicked out of Malta but that was the address they gave me two weeks ago.

It's hard to trust the activities of CTC. They are very quick in sending a wage assignment to the payroll dept. and get your wages deducted. You need to revoke their wage assignment by writing a letter and send a copy to your payroll. Send it through certified mail with return receipt requested and keep a copy for records. Can you calculate how much have you paid so far to Northway Debit? It will be easier for you to find out how much you still owe on the principal balance?
