the number of Cash Star Group is 866-668-9412 and 866-630-2643 but you will never get to anyone and the call will drop after 8 mins and 14 sec appx. I have reached someone twice out appx 25 times I've called

i applied for a cash advance thru cash star group for 300.00 dollars almost a month ago. they don't send me emails to let me know about the bi-weekly withdraw of fund out of my account. i know i got the cash advance thru them i want to know how to get in touch with them or are they under another name

If Cash Star Group loans are an internet pdl, good luck. Most of them are not licensed to do business.

There are other ways to solve your debt problems, other than a pay day loan. Please read the Forum about pdls and see what has happened to tohers and what grief they are dealing with over them.

well it has been hard for me to get in touch with this company also, plus the company GODADDY.com who registered them will not give out any contact information. I DID NOT GET THE MONEY IN ONE HOUR, CASH STAR GROUP CALLED ME OVER AND OVER FOR APPORVAL, AND CONTINUED TO SEND ME TEXT MESSAGES FOR OTHER OFFERS. So annoying!!! anyway, now i am trying to make sure that they will discontinue the withdrawls and what will the final amount be but no one is availble to speak to...

I borrowed money from them as well. If I had known then what I know now I would never have gone through them. This is a shady business and they have continued to withdraw money even after the payment amount was made. You can never get a hold of a real person when you call their number and you never receive a repsonse when you send Cash Star Group an email. I basically had to close my bank account because of this f***ing company. Cash Star Group, You SUCK!!

Cash Star Group payday loans had put money in my account without even telling me.

I received funds in my bank account from this company that I did not authorize. I need to know how to get a hold of someone to take it back I did not ask for it or even talk to anyone over it. my bank won't return it to the company.

Contact your bank and have them reverse the transaction. I think it must be doen w/in 48-72 hours.

i applied for a loan like 3 months ago never received any info so I thought I just didn't qualify well I look on my online banking and 300 dollars in my account from stupid cash star loans which they sent me an email 3 days ago and I replied don't send me the the loan i don't want it they put it in my account anyway so i called them and talked to some lady and i told here i have my email saved were iam stating that i don't want the damn loan so she said we will take it back out of your checking account this better be resolved or else

They put $200.00 in my account and two weeks later they took out $60.00. I never talked to them and ive been tring to call them no answer.

they have done the same to me, and now they say that I owe twice as much as they say I borrowed, I never talked to anyone, the money was just in my account, and now all I get is harrassment calls. I think they areall scams and think that this kind of payday loan crap should be illegal, and only done person to person. We are reporting them to consumer affairs, and I think everyone else that has problems with them should.

I also got a pay day advance from this company. As of now they have gotten the money back plus an additional 325. I have tried to contact them and have also requested that my bank not allow the withdrawal. I have been informed by my bank the only way to stop this is to close my account and open a new one. This is a big hassel for me as I have legitimate funds that are being withdrawn. I was given a number by my bank for Red River 866-668-9413, but when I call they either are closed, the phone rings continuously, or they answer then put me on hold never coming back on the line.

I have never received any emails nor postal mail in regards to this so called loan.

If any one can help nail this company it would be greatly appreciated. In these economic times companies like this should be fully investigated and if possible face any legal consequences.

They contacted me and I authorized a 100.00 payment.
These MF's took 240.00 . I can't get a hold of these MF's

This company is such a rip off. They charge 300 percent on loans you dont even apply for. DO NOT do business with them.

i urge everyone to report them to the FTC and their attorney general's office of their state, seriously if we flood them with complaints, maybe it will make some sort of difference. i cannot report them to the BBB because i do not have a physical address but i submitted complaints to the FTC and my useless attorney general's office (NJ, they do not do anything for us..).

cheryl, we are not cash star group! (thank god!!) their number is on this thread if you look up.. we do not issue loans, we help people get out of debt! :)

i just received money in my bank from them and never ever talked to anyone. i'm going to see if my bank will return it if not i will close my account and open another one.

I have used them numerous times with no issue, these types of advances must be used responsibly, do not have 5 out at once.

kenny, i am assuming you are a troll but in case you are not, these people are getting loans that they never even applied for! i am being collected on a loan they tried to deposit in a closed account, had no luck and still are coming after me!

I would say it is a scam. The big problem with scams is that they are clever to hide their locations. They are probably located on foreign soil and so even if they were located, there may not be too much that can be done - at least any more than the typical "nigerian I-have-a-bunch-of-money-and-I-will-pay-you-to-get-it-out-of-the-country-if-you-give-me-your-bank-info" scam - other than educate, educate, educate!

i agree, i am assuming that when people apply for online payday loans there is a page that basically steals information. i am certain that is how my identity was stolen last year as well. star cash put money into the same account i used to apply for payday loans. mind you this account has been closed for over a year and the bank would not accept the deposit and returned it. i was notified because i had a fraud record on my account statements, that is the only reason why i was even aware this happened (but i was told after they came looking for me for payment.. at first i assumed i had a loan with them in the past and they wanted more money, i used to be careless and i had loans from many companies - all paid and settled, i might add but it happens) i offered to fax a statement from the bank saying their deposit was reversed but i just do not bother anymore. they are a scam and i just do not talk to them.

That's the problem with scams - since they operate illegally, they don't exactly have a front office.

And some websites certainly *are* deceptive, like for instance, the "free credit report" website which made itself look like the legitimate FTC website (www.annualcreditreport.com) and tricked people into paying for a service they didn't want, need, nor request. Much of advertising these days is directly deceptive.

It is unfortunate you had to go through such an undeserved disruption. Illegal and deceptive business practices *hurt* people. I'm glad it all worked out for you!
