Does anyone have an email address for Credit Protection Depot Inc? I had a payday loan through discountadvances.com, Credit Protection Depot Inc is who performed the debits from my checking account. I have sent a Refund Request letter to Discount Advances fax number, but cannot get any response from them and of course I can't find any other contact information on them. I do know that Credit Protection Depot Inc is affiliated with them as I called them at 866-645-1661 and they confirmed that they are affiliated with Discount Advances. I am just looking for any additional contact information that I can get. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the information. It seems funny to me that all these payday loan places are so adamant about the fact that they aren't doing anything wrong, yet it is nearly impossible to find accurate contact information on them. They hide behind so many different names, it is hard to know who is who.

Very true, most of the lenders have so many DBA names that it becomes to identify the parent company. Besides, having multiple names makes them easier to scam people. If one of their companies comes under legal troubles, they can carry out with other names. Very few out there publish the name of the parent company and others don't complete the licensing formalities. That's just so annoying!!

Were you able to get in touch with the person at Credit Protection Depot? Is this the address and phone number you were searching for?

I found that Credit Protection Depot has a cease and desist order from State of Nevada from 6/11/2009. They were not licensed. I wonder if anyone knows if they have since gotten a license? They were also found to be taking money out of accounts without authorization, and taking more than was owed. They are threatening me, telling me that though I revoked authorization for them to debit my account through the bank, they can contact my bank and with the original loan agreement have it reversed. Waiting on my lawyer's reply to find out if this is an empty threat -- but of course I'll worry anyhow. That interest rate cannot even be legal. I paid the loan 3 times just in interest by now--they made it impossible to get off the merry go round. Live and learn. I'm truly an idiot for ever borrowing from them but when you are alone and no where to turn.... it seemed a smarter thing to do at the time until they ate so much of my pay up check to check I couldn't pay it off without turning around and taking out another loan in a week to pay the bills! '

I hope no one ever is forced to go to these people--we need to eliminate the business.

I just had a run in with them. They keep having these people from India call me and tell me that they are sending me to jail, which is not how things work I know. But when I called them to tell them that is illegal threats and intimidation the guy started saying "I love you" over and over... Then asked if I would suck his your know what!!!! I am contacting the attorney general. And now they are calling me over and over! From an unavailable number....

Get this! BBB has it on file that CPD is not even in business in Nevada. But they have a P.O. Box 543 in North Brunswick, NJ 07930, and are listed on the BBB as an Appliance Service & Repair store with a C- rating. All I need is an address so that I can pay MyCashNow the principal of my loan. I live in New Jersey and I am aware of the usury law so I want to pay them and get them off my back. But which address is the actual address to send payment? North Brunswick, NJ, Canada? MyCashNow even has an address in Panama? I'm so confused.

It isn't a criminal matter it's a civil matter. I do hope you will file complaints with the FTC and your AG.

im in nc from what i have found i dont think they are lisenced in my state. payday lending is illegal in nc i originally had the loan through payday max. they arent driving me crazy yet they have called a few times but i havent been around my phone to talk to them when i tried calling back they are always closed i have recieved the same email saying that its a criminal matter that ive brought on myself but i cant respond to the email. i really cant make any payment right now but i have paid 2 full loans in the past with this company the first one i paid over 500 for a 280 loan and the second i paid with one payment and paid about 650 for a 400 loan. my question is what can these people really do if i refuse to pay more than the original principle? all the lawsuits i have found online referring to this company have had them as the defendant.

They are only getting the principal amount I owe them. And that's it. I, too, have taken out recent loans with MyCashNow and they have been paid back on time. People, DO NOT be intimidated by threats from these low life loan sharks! We all have rights under Federal and State Laws. You can send your questions to your local Attorny General's Office and well as the Consumer Response Center at the Federal Trade Commission, CRC-240, Washington, DC 20580. FYI - I have just sent a certified letter to Professional Debt Management a.k.a. Phoenix Debt Management in Kansas City regarding harassing and threatening phone calls to my place of work (I work at a NYC law firm LOL!). Still trying to figure out, however, who it is they're calling me about. Anyway, good luck to all. And remember, we all have rights under the law!!

The system wont let me login, I want to let you know that I am dealing with both Credit Protection Depot and PDM, and I have filed complaints on them every week. If they even call and hang up I go on line and file a complaint. Right now in MO the Attoreny General's office is filing charges against PDM, so get those complaints in asap in your state and theirs. Last thurs PDM called for the 3rd time after I told them not to call me, and at that point I told them I spoke with a consumers rights attorney and they said I have the right for a debt validation and they better stop calling my work. At that point he said he will get it out to me, havent seen it yet. I am think they may try to send me something stupid to see if I fall for it, but I wont. I will just file a dispute back at them. Both of these PDL's are over paid and I consider them PIF..... I also asked for my refund too..

I had a loan with my cash now. Credit Protection Depot has been debiting my checking account multiple times over the last month. I can't get anyone to speak to me about this or to help me pay it back legitimately without randomly debiting my account. Their computer systems are always down or there is some lame excuse as to why they can't access my account. I'm getting desperate because they are taking all of my money. I hate to have to close my checking account. I just want to pay what I owe. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Credit Protection Depot and MyCashNow are one in the same. You can only stop them one way, and that is to close out your account. These people are nothing more than criminals and will stop at nothing to drain you dry. Please, close your account.

the funny thing is i am familiar with NJ as i work with different addresses a lot in my work and the zip code they gave you for North Brunswick is actually the zip code for Chester, NJ (I even double checked with map quest and the post office's page!), they are a good 45 min away from eachother. this may not have anything to do with anything but i happened to notice and that would send a warning signal in my head.

it depends what state you are in. As of Jan 1, 2010, washington state requires every lender, even internet lenders to abide by Wa regulations. That means only one loan out at a time, 700 limit 95 interest, and the lender must be licensed in Washington. If they break any of the rules, the loan is not enforceable...good luck

Now I'm really going to ignore them *LOL*

I would file a complaint with the attorney general to. The address in Canada is pretty much a p.o box they run some kind of business there with a couple of guys not sure what though. They had a office in Reno NV they shut down about a year ago. They have a office in Costa rica but they main office is in Chattanooga, TN for credit protection depot (collections dept), mycashnow.com,discountadvances.com and paydaymax.com. You should check your state laws you have rights. Read this link from a former employee of them:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/Loans/Discountadvances-com/discountadvances-com-don-t-let-jc5j4.htm#

You don't have to close your checking account.
All I did was had my routing number changed and got new checks.

no they are not.as the post above indicates they are in canada.PAYDAY MAX i also not located in this country and most illegal.if you paid the principle in fees to PAYDAY MAX then you owe neither of these places.file the usual complaints.secure your bank account, and ignore them.

They are one and the same, you really need to close your account, this could go on endlessly, and they won't hesitate to share your personal account information with other Internet lenders, your account will never be safe again.

This is a public forum dedicated to helping people get out of debt, we aren't affiliated with this company, you need to contact them directly.

ya, pretty funny how they have debited more from my account then the actual loan just by extending the loan over and over. This is NOT OK... they have above and beyond what most of us owe them and we are still owing the FULL AMOUNT. That is not ok.

Paday Max, My Cash Now, and Discount Advances are simply websites all under Credit Payment Services. Credit Protection Depot is the collection department that comes after you if ever they can't retain funds from your bank. The address is the Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN one that is listed in one of the above posts. Hope this helps!
